Descripción
Deployment often involves long travel days, multiple flights, unfamiliar destinations, and extended periods away from family and friends. Fly Away Bags are designed to make that journey a little easier.
These specially packed care kits contain practical items Service Members can use while traveling to deployment locations around the world. Bags typically include travel-size hygiene products, snacks, gum, hard candy, tissues, a deck of cards, puzzle books, pens, and other small comforts that help make long hours of travel more manageable.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Assist with sorting and organizing donated supplies.
- Pack Flyaway Bags with essential hygiene products, personal care items, and other necessities.
- Help inventory and prepare completed bags for distribution.
- Work alongside Soldiers’ Angels staff and fellow volunteers to support our mission.
