Looking for a Gentle yoga or Strength and Balance instructor to provide a monthly physical wellness activity for our seniors and single adults. We have ongoing physical needs in our building for positive community engagement and improved wellness. Most of our residents have transportation barriers and, due to other physical limitations, are unable to attend community fitness events. Seniors are looking to improve mobility and strength. This group class will enhance connection with others and reduce social isolation. Times can fit your availability.
This class will take place in our own housing space in Columbia Heights. We are flexible with time and commitment. Looking for a fitness/wellness volunteer starting in Feb 2026 until Sept of 2026
