Volunteer Opportunity: Spiritual Care / Faith‑Based Companion (In‑Person)

We are seeking a faith‑based volunteer to provide spiritual companionship and accompaniment for an older adult living in Lynnwood. This role is well‑suited for someone who enjoys supporting others through shared faith and meaningful presence.

About the Participant

• Cognitively intact and personable
• Communicates easily and enjoys conversation
• Independent with personal care
• Has a strong desire to attend church services

Volunteer Role

• Provide in‑person spiritual companionship
• Accompany the participant on DART transportation to and from church
• Offer conversation, encouragement, and faith‑based support
• This is a multi‑hour commitment per visit
• Weekly visits preferred, though less frequent scheduling is possible

Volunteer Preferences

• Comfortable with faith‑based engagement
• Reliable and able to commit to longer visits when scheduled
• No gender preference
• Calm, respectful, and supportive demeanor
