Urgent Fundraising Lead and Volunteers Needed Immigrant Community Gala June 5 Connecticut

The New York Tanzanian Community NYTC is organizing a cultural and community gala on June 5 2026 in Connecticut USA.

This event will bring together members of the Tanzanian diaspora and the broader immigrant community to celebrate culture strengthen connections and support meaningful community initiatives.

We expect to bring together over 100 community members leaders and supporters for an evening focused on culture connection and impact.

With a confirmed venue and event date we are now in a critical phase. We must raise $10,000 dollars to cover essential event costs and ensure the gala can take place.

In addition we aim to raise further funds to support programs that help immigrant families connect access resources and create opportunities for youth and professionals.

We are currently seeking a Fundraising Lead volunteers and partners who are ready to take action and help make this event successful.

Roles Needed:

• Fundraising Lead or Sponsorship Coordinator
• Lead outreach to sponsors donors and partners
• Help secure financial and in kind support
• Drive progress toward fundraising goals within a tight timeline

Volunteers and Team Members

• Event planning and coordination
• Marketing and community outreach
• Cultural programming and entertainment coordination
• Day of event support

We Are Also Seeking:

• Sponsors and business partners
• Community organizations supporting immigrant communities
• In kind contributions such as catering media decor and services
• Sponsors will have the opportunity to gain visibility connect with the community and be recognized as supporters of immigrant and cultural initiatives.
