Outreach Relations Intern

The Outreach Relations Department supports the organization by developing strategic partnerships and cultivating relationships with healthcare professionals, community leaders, and organizational stakeholders. Outreach Interns assist in identifying partnership opportunities, supporting relationship development, and helping define goals and objectives that maximize organizational impact. This role plays an important part in advancing the organization’s mission and strengthening its presence within the healthcare and community space.

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and researching potential partnership opportunities
• Support outreach efforts to healthcare professionals, community leaders, and organizations
• Help maintain and develop professional relationships with external stakeholders
• Assist in organizing outreach initiatives and tracking partnership activities
• Support goal setting and strategic planning aligned with organizational objectives
• Gather feedback and insights to support organizational initiatives

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional and courteous interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Preferred Background

• Coursework or experience in public health, healthcare administration, communications, business, or related fields
• Interest in nonprofit work, healthcare advocacy, or community engagement
• Experience with outreach, networking, or partnership development is a plus

Time Commitment

• Approximately 10 hours per week
• Flexible scheduling based on academic commitment
