Searching for Tech Enthusiasts

My name is Jodson Graves and in 2023, I founded the Network Theory Applied Research Institute, a nonprofit tech company.

Though I have university experience, I'm not your traditional academic but one of those many who take the internet seriously when it comes to doing research. I know my knowledge is not complete, but any PhD worth their salt will also tell you they don't know everything, even about their field of focus. I'm a polymath synthesizing communications theory, economics, anthropology, IT, philosophy, theology, and several multidisciplinary subjects-- systems thinking, network theory, emergence, and chaos. I use AI critically to speed up my work but recognize the fact that I'm still essentially working alone. My two partners serving mostly cerimoniously as VP and secretary of the organization do not have the time to keep up.

When obtaining 501.c3 status, I listed the organization's mission as "improving the internet". Today, I've made it our mission to research and develop mesh networks-- systems for linking servers hosted in residential homes and businesses so people (instead of corporations) can reap the benefits of hosting the internet. We use that same principle to develop open-source software that allow users to review, edit and redistribute the code freely. Our goal is to create a productive information environment where every internet user can participate in the cultivation of the world.
