Spring into a new Volunteer Opportunity - Greet Hospice Families at Mount Holly In Patient Unit

Spring is a great time to try something new. At Samaritan, no special skills are required; just share your heart and enrich your life.

Considering supporting the Samaritan Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mount Holly by greeting family members and visitors coming to visit their loved ones, escorting as needed to patient rooms, answering/directing calls, and representing Samaritan.

The Unit is located inside Virtua Hospital Mount Holly. The In Patient Unit Volunteers shifts occur on the weekends. Saturday and Sunday Shifts are the same: 8am to 11am; 11am to 2pm, and 2pm to 5pm. We ask that you bring the following qualities to your work at Samaritan: good communication and listening skills, a nonjudgmental attitude, reliability, flexibility, and compassion.

Qualifications/Requirements: - Minimum Age: 17 - One-year commitment - Volunteer Orientation and Training - Some medical requirements including COVID Vaccination and one booster (or physician-signed medical declination).
