Volunteer at the Dallas Community DNA Pop Up

AfriGenetry Link is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to support our Dallas Community DNA Pop Up on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at The DEC Network at RedBird.

This free community event will bring together DNA and ancestry education, genealogy, family history, health and wellness, culture and community resources to help individuals and families explore three important questions: Who am I? Where do I come from? What runs in my family?

Volunteers may support guest welcome and registration, event stations, DNA kit support, family history and genealogy activities, health and wellness activities, speaker and vendor support, media and content, community engagement, event flow, setup and breakdown, and general event support.

We welcome students, recent graduates, young professionals, healthcare and public health professionals, community members, photographers and videographers, and anyone passionate about helping people and serving the community.

Volunteers will have an opportunity to contribute to a meaningful community experience, gain hands-on event experience, connect with professionals and community leaders, and receive a certificate of service.

No specialized DNA or genetics experience is required for general volunteer roles. Event-specific guidance will be provided.
