Social Work Internship needed at Brighton Hospice Oregon!

Social work interns will get to work with the social work team at Brighton to interact with the families of the patients. This will be an incredible opportunity to learn about the behind the scenes work of hospice care. Interns will get chances to both work in the office setting, as well as out in the field meeting with patient’s families and friends to help them through the tough time they are facing.

Qualifications:

• Must have Master’s degree (Sociology preferred)
• Must have a good bedside manner
• Must be willing to collaborate with a team and work well in group settings
• Must be committed to supporting the family and friends of the patients in Brighton’s care
• Must be able to comprehend, relay, and carry out Brighton’s mission
• Must be dedicated to learning and growing as the internship continue
