Part-time volunteer role. Minimum 3–6 hours per week. Commitment of at least 3–6 months preferred. Must attend initial orientation and training. Reliability and consistent attendance required to support student progress.

Descripción
Responsibilities
- Provide instruction in Reading, Writing, Math, Science, and Social Studies aligned with GED curriculum.
- Assess student learning needs and create lesson plans to support progress.
- Track attendance, student progress, and testing readiness.
- Offer encouragement and support to build student confidence and persistence.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or any 4 year degree preferred, not required
- Teaching or tutoring experience, especially with adult learners, strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, patience, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with diverse populations and adapt teaching methods to different learning styles.
Other Details
- Part-time, flexible schedule based on class needs.
- Training and curriculum resources provided.
- Reports to Program Director.
