💜 Hairstylist Volunteers Needed: Cut & Collect Ponytails for Women & Girls with Medical Hair Loss

Help us give hope, one ponytail at a time.

Since 2004, Hair That Cares has provided over 5,000 premium human hair wigs to women undergoing cancer treatment and girls with alopecia. We need compassionate hairstylists to help us collect hair donations that make these life-changing wigs possible.

What You'll Do:

• Cut ponytails from donors who want to support our mission
• Properly prepare and package hair donations following our guidelines
• Educate clients about hair donation and our program
• Mail collected ponytails to our facility
• Inspire your community to give

The Impact: Every ponytail you collect helps us create beautiful wigs for women fighting cancer and young girls struggling with hair loss. For someone who's lost everything, a quality wig isn't just hair—it's confidence, normalcy, and hope.

Requirements:

• Active cosmetology/barber license
• Ability to follow hair preparation guidelines
• Compassion for people experiencing medical hair loss
• Willingness to educate clients about donation process

Time Commitment: Flexible! This is an ongoing opportunity. Collect ponytails as clients donate—could be weekly, monthly, or whenever donations come in. Each collection takes about 15-30 minutes (cutting + packaging).

Location: Remote/Flexible - Work from your own salon or wherever you practice

• Complete hair donation guidelines
• Donation forms
• Packaging instructions
• Marketing materials for your salon
• Ongoing support
