Volunteers Needed - Casa Grande High School Community Planting Day in Petaluma
Saturday 10/24/26 from 9:30 am - 2 pm
Join our Planting Day -- help turn lawns into habitat at Casa Grande HS!
Daily Acts and Casa Grande High School are teaming up to transform grass to gardens in front of the school! This summer we sheet mulched 3 sections of lawn and fall is the right time to to get native & climate appropriate plantings in the ground for winter rains!
Together, we’ll create a water-wise landscape that will build habitat and bring beauty to the school community for years to come.
NOTE: All are welcome (including children with adult supervision) and no experience needed
Come for some, or come for all -- we will gather rain or shine!
We'll provide:
- FREE Lunch & Snacks
- Instruction & tools
- A fun day with the Petaluma community
