Organization: Freedom VR (Freedom from Addiction) We're a Phoenix-based nonprofit revolutionizing addiction recovery with a mission to create discreet, stigma-free VR experiences that rewire thoughts and emotions for positive change. Join us in combating substance use disorders affecting 250,000+ Phoenicians!

Role Overview: As a Volunteer Community Outreach Coordinator, you'll help spread awareness and build partnerships to reduce stigma and connect those in need with our innovative services. Key tasks:

• • Organize local events, workshops, and health fairs.
  • Partner with Phoenix orgs (e.g., recovery centers, community groups).
  • Create and share educational content on VR therapy benefits.
  • Engage communities to highlight our judgment-free approach.

Qualifications:

• • Passion for mental health/addiction recovery.
  • Strong communication and networking skills.
  • Local Phoenix knowledge a plus; lived experience welcome.
  • 5-10 hours/week, flexible schedule.
