Hospice volunteering allows you to develop communication, empathy, and patient care skills that healthcare programs value. It also provides meaningful experience to include on your application.

Volunteers who are engaged and consistent may request a strong reference letter based on their service—an important component for PA and healthcare program applications.

Requirements:

• Kansas background check (Social Security number required)

• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance (if driving)

• 2-step TB test

No prior experience needed—just a willingness to connect and a heart for serving others.
