Serving food at the Free Breakfast Club is fun, engaging, and rewarding. Two volunteers work alongside each other to prepare to go breakfast containers in a commercial kitchen as well as serve food for those that want to stay and dine in. A typical day would have both volunteers starting at 7:30 to prepare 30+ to go containers that will be delivered to local shut ins as well as others who take one to go. at 8:00 am the dining room opens and you'll serve prepared food and gather to go bags as requested until 9:00 am or food runs out.
No qualifications needed and others will be there to guide you along the way. Once you're done serving you'll clean up your station with the help of other volunteers.
Shift is from 7:30 am to approximately 9:15 am on any Tuesday or Friday you are available.
