Role Summary

We are seeking two Development Managers to lead and own specific areas of development, including grants, partnerships, sponsorships, and service contracts. This role requires strong ownership, strategic thinking, and the ability to carry initiatives from idea through execution while coordinating closely with the Director of Development and the broader team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead grant strategy, including planning, tracking, and oversight (beyond writing alone)
• Manage grant pipelines (mini, foundation, large, and state/federal)
• Oversee grant compliance, reporting, and timelines
• Develop corporate partnerships and sponsorships (for one of the two roles)
• Support service contracts (e.g., workforce development contracts)
• Contribute to revenue strategy for events, sales plans, and campaigns
• Collaborate cross-functionally with programs, admin, and communications teams

Experience & Traits

• Experience in grants, fundraising, or development work
• Comfortable managing multiple funding streams simultaneously
• Strong project management and communication skills
• Proactive, organized, and mission-driven
• Ownership mindset with the ability to take initiative
