Do you enjoy playing a musical instrument and/or singing? Our patients benefit from hearing a favorite song or hymn bringing them a sense of comfort, peace and happiness. Sometimes, it's the only way patients can communicate and often, patients and families reconnect with feelings and recalling memories. If you are a compassionate, caring and giving person, this is a very rewarding opportunity for you.
VITAS provides training. Volunteers create their own schedule, visiting patients when it's convenient for them.
