She’s Going Places (SGP) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women and girls through financial literacy, hygiene programs, personal and professional development, and cultural exchange opportunities. Alongside our nonprofit services, we are building social enterprise initiatives that generate income, expand our reach, and ensure long-term sustainability.

Position Summary

The Director of Social Enterprise & Retail leads SGP’s revenue-generating initiatives, including hygiene kit sales, branded merchandise, e-books, and digital products. This role develops strategies for expanding retail and enterprise opportunities while ensuring that all efforts align with SGP’s mission and values.

This is a volunteer leadership position ideal for someone with experience in retail, social enterprise, or business development who is passionate about combining entrepreneurship with social impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the production and sales of SGP hygiene kits and branded products.
• Manage digital product offerings (e-books, toolkits, online resources).
• Explore opportunities for retail expansion (pop-up shops, partnerships, e-commerce).
• Develop and implement a social enterprise strategy that contributes to SGP’s financial sustainability.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Director to promote products and initiatives.
• Track revenue, expenses, and impact from social enterprise activities.
• Explore affiliate licensing and potential “SGP Empowerment Centers” for long-term growth.

Qualifications & Skills

• Background in retail, e-commerce, social enterprise, or business development.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify and grow new opportunities.
• Strong organizational and financial management skills.
• Creative thinker with marketing and branding awareness.
• Passion for women’s empowerment and mission-driven business.

Time Commitment

• Approximately 6–8 hours per month (remote and flexible).
• Participation in monthly leadership and team meetings (virtual).
