3/28 Ecological Restoration Volunteer Day at South Beach Park

Join the Institute for Regional Conservation and the City of Boca Raton to restore the beach dunes at South Beach Park! On Saturday, March 28th come volunteer with us where participants will install native plants and remove invasive plant species that are causing harm to the dunes. This allows us to enhance and restore the native biodiversity of the important beach dune ecosystem.
There is no experience required! So grab a friend and come out to help repair the essential biodiversity of the South Beach Park. Whether this is your first volunteer event with us or you're a repeat volunteer, we are so excited to have you join the IRC family and see how much fun habitat restoration can be!
Please be sure to RSVP if you want to sign up to participate in this event.
We recommend that you wear closed toed shoes, and comfortable outdoor clothing, as you will be in full sun. We also recommend wearing a hat and sunscreen! Please bring a reusable water bottle and anything else that may make you comfortable in the outdoors! We will provide the rest.

When you arrive at South Beach Park let them know you are volunteering with IRC which will grant you free access to the park. We will meet at the north end of the park, all the way at the north end parking spaces.
