- Powered By Love, an established 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is seeking a Local/Hybrid Marketing, Partnerships & Sponsorship Chair to serve as the "Business Connector" for The 831 Experience, a high-impact community restoration event on October 16th–17th, 2026. This position is structured as a volunteer leadership role with a project-based stipend of $4,000. Please note that this stipend is strictly contingent upon successful event revenue generation.
- Operating on an intensive 4.5-month operational sprint starting June 1st, 2026, the workload follows a phased timeline: Phase 1 requires 3–5 hrs/wk; Phase 2 requires 8–10 hrs/wk; and Phase 3 scales to 20–30 hrs/wk during the October event dates. Expectations include identifying and securing local business partnerships (restaurateurs, retail, logistics) to meet in-kind needs, and partnering directly with our Chief Development Officer (Nikki Burton) to drive corporate social responsibility (CSR) pitch pipelines. You will also oversee on-site sponsor activations—including physical/digital branding, signage, logo projections, and VIP seating—and collaborate with our Financial Controller to audit and document the Fair Market Value (FMV) of all in-kind donations for IRS compliance.
- Additionally, you will recruit and manage a specialized sub-committee of 3–4 volunteers and supervise corporate sponsor check-ins on-site. Qualifications include 2+ years in corporate fundraising, B2B sales, account management, or event sponsorship execution, alongside a strong local professional network and a dedication to high-dignity care.
