This role supports dog placement by coordinating outreach to partner rescues and organizations. The Placement Coordinator will conduct organized cold emailing using provided templates, research and identify appropriate rescue contacts, and maintain a master tracking spreadsheet of outreach efforts, responses, and next steps.
This is a remote, ongoing volunteer role requiring approximately 3–4 hours per week. The role involves consistent follow-up, organization, and basic data tracking. Volunteers must be comfortable working in Google Docs/Sheets, researching contact information, and keeping clear records of outreach activity. Prior experience working with dogs in a rescue, shelter, or animal welfare setting is required. Reliability and follow-through are essential, as this work directly impacts placement outcomes.
This is a remote volunteer role and requires reliable personal access to a phone and/or computer with internet. The rescue is not able to provide equipment or service.
