Volunteer with Lazarus Ministries KC

At Lazarus Ministries, We help our neighbors through a variety of services that strive to meet needs, offer opportunity, and provide compassion.

The Cafe serves more than 10,000 meals every year to homeless and hungry individuals in the Kansas City community. We seek, not only to provide warm meals, but to offer a sense of community to our guests. Lazarus Ministries KC volunteers help to serve hot meals every weekend in a banquet-style environment to ensure that our neighbors are always treated with dignity.

Lazarus Boutique continues the mission of providing basic needs with compassion. The boutique is open every Saturday, in conjunction with lunch, to provide items of need such as clothing, personal hygiene products, and household items. Lazarus Ministries KC volunteers serve as personal shoppers to ensure that each individual shops with dignity, finds the correct size, and receives what they need.
