Make a Difference: Become a Hospice Volunteer in Albemarle, Madison, Louisa, and Green Counties.
Are you looking for a meaningful way to give back? Hospice volunteers provide comfort, companionship, and support to patients and families during their most vulnerable moments.
What You Can Do:
- Be a friend to patients in their home, or wherever they call home
- Read, listen, or simply hold a hand
- Play cards or a board game
- Share music, art, or your hobbies and interests
- Give caregivers the gift of a short break
No medical experience needed - just a compassionate heart!
- Training and ongoing support provided.
Flexible schedule - visit weekly or every other week for an hour or more, as your time allows
