The Social and Reception Committee shall organize and oversee all club social functions and carry out any additional duties assigned to it. The committee shall also serve as the reception committee at all club meetings. Remote committee members work in coordination with the other four committees as a supporting backup force, carrying out additional tasks assigned by any committee when required, and supporting the overall execution of club activities virtually.
Our basic requirements for committee members are to be at least 13 years old, volunteer based on your own availability, communicate with us regularly, and be passionate about what you are doing. The term for club committee members runs from July to July each year. Applications are open year-round, but all terms conclude in July. For example, if you onboard in March, your term will end in July of the same year.
After onboarding, you will be assigned a specific task as a committee member. Please check your email regularly after submitting your application, as we will contact you soon. At the end of your term, you will receive a signed volunteer hours letter and a certificate. For further inquiries, feel free to contact us at volunteer@seadragonsgavel.org.
