Mass Care Team Member – Disaster Services

Help Provide Comfort, Care, and Hope When Disaster Strikes!

When disaster forces families from their homes, having a safe place to stay, a warm meal, and essential supplies can make all the difference. The American Red Cross is seeking compassionate volunteers to join our Mass Care team and help communities prepare for and recover from emergencies.

As a Mass Care Volunteer, you'll:

• Help support emergency shelters, meal distribution, and the delivery of essential supplies to disaster-affected communities.
• Assist with reunification efforts to help reconnect families separated during emergencies.
• Prepare for future disasters by organizing supplies, maintaining inventory, and assessing potential shelter locations.
• Work alongside Red Cross volunteers and community partners to strengthen local disaster preparedness.
• Participate in training, planning activities, and disaster response efforts.

No prior disaster response experience is necessary! The Red Cross provides training and opportunities to develop valuable emergency response skills.
