Join Spectrum Autism Support Group for the Georgia Race for Autism, our largest annual fundraising event bringing together individuals, families, and community supporters to celebrate, raise awareness, and support programs for individuals with autism.
This high-energy, community-focused event includes a race, family activities, vendor areas, and opportunities for connection and celebration. Volunteers play a critical role in ensuring the event runs smoothly and that all participants have a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience.
Volunteer responsibilities may include registration and check-in, course support, directing participants, assisting with activity areas, supporting vendors, distributing refreshments, and helping with event breakdown and cleanup. Volunteers will work alongside Spectrum staff and event leads, who will provide guidance and support throughout the event.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals and groups who enjoy fast-paced environments, working with the community, and supporting a meaningful cause. No prior experience is required—just a positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to help wherever needed.
Volunteers are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and be prepared for outdoor activity. This is a great opportunity for students, corporate groups, and community members to make a direct impact while being part of one of Spectrum’s most exciting events of the year.
