Volunteer Research, Internet, Phone Calls & Data Entry Assistant (One-Time Project)

We are seeking a detail-oriented volunteer to help build a free public resource directory.

This is a one-time project with a clear objective. You'll help research, verify, and organize information that will become part of a free public resource available to everyone.

What You'll Do

Responsibilities include:

• Researching organizations and verifying information
• Calling organizations during U.S. business hours to confirm details
• Waiting on hold when necessary to obtain accurate information
• Sending professional follow-up emails
• Following up when responses are delayed
• Entering information into Google Sheets
• Keeping records organized and accurate
• Identifying missing or conflicting information
• Helping ensure the directory is complete before publication

We're Looking For Someone Who

• Enjoys research and finding accurate information
• Has excellent attention to detail
• Is comfortable making phone calls to organizations throughout the United States
• Communicates professionally by phone and email
• Is organized and dependable
• Is comfortable using Google Sheets, Gmail, and other Google Workspace tools
• Enjoys projects that require persistence and follow-through
• Can work independently and provide regular progress updates

Project Details

• One-time volunteer project
• Remote
• Flexible schedule
• U.S. business-hour phone calls are required for much of the work
• Training, templates, and project documentation will be provided
