Assist with equine-assisted therapeutic riding lessons

We are in need of volunteers to facilitate our equine-assisted therapeutic riding lessons. Winter session Begins January 13th, 2026!! Each rider in our program needs a minimum of a leader for the horse and one or two side walkers to walk along side the rider for additional support. So the need for volunteer support is big. We have up to four horses in one lesson so it can equal up to 8 - 12 volunteers just for one class. Horse experience is a plus, but not required, we train all volunteers.

3 shifts available:

All volunteers need to commit to a minimum of 2 hours and arrive 30-45 minutes ahead of lessons to help the horses get ready for the lesson.

• We have classes on Saturday from 9:00am to 12:00pm
• We have classes on Tuesday from 3:00pm to 6:00pm
• We have classes on Friday from 3:00pm to 6:00pm.

Looking to expand our classes to Wednesday and Thursday so if you are available on Wednesday and Thursday please feel free to reach out!! We cannot expand without volunteer support!
