About the Role
NAFF Foundation is seeking a dedicated volunteer to support fundraising and project implementation for our community project: Heal and Empower Mbita’s Elderly and Youth. This initiative focuses on providing physiotherapy care for the elderly while creating educational opportunities for underprivileged youth in Mbita.
The volunteers can work remotely and at our center in Kenya fundraising for the project, helping us mobilize resources and coordinate fundraising activities, with an option to visit the site to ensure smooth implementation and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and promote our existing online fundraising links.
- Create and launch additional fundraising campaigns through platforms such as Mayekoo and others.
- Build partnerships and reach out to potential donors, sponsors, and organizations.
- Track, report, and share fundraising progress with the team and supporters.
- Assist in coordinating project implementation activities for the Elderly Physiocare Centre.
- Provide periodic updates and creative content for social media and campaign visibility.
- (Optional) Conduct on-site visits to Mbita to monitor, evaluate, and support project implementation
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong passion for community development, health care, and education.
- Experience in fundraising, communications, or project management (preferred but not required).
- Excellent writing, communication, and networking skills.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently online.
- Familiarity with crowdfunding platforms and social media promotion is an added advantage.
