Programs & Partnerships Coordinator

The Animal Pad all-breed dog rescue is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our Community Programs & Partnerships team and help us manage some very exciting projects we have in the works! TAP supports dogs in need through collaboration with community partners and engaging community-based programs. We are searching for a dedicated Programs & Partnerships Coordinator to help us expand existing initiatives, find new opportunities, and join an organization that is truly so much more than just a dog rescue! This position can be fully remote or hybrid if you'd like to be involved more hands-on, with most of the work accomplished from your computer. The department Directors will provide messaging and guidance along the way!

Responsibilities include:

• Reaching out to local businesses, veterinary clinics, and agencies for donations and partnerships
• Researching new opportunities for community programs and partnerships
• Coordinating event support
• Partnership appreciation

Your work will help support:

• K-12 education on dog rescue, care, and safety
• Street outreach - providing supplies for San Diego’s unsheltered companion animals and their owners
• Informational booths at community events
• Expanding our care network of veterinary partners
• Expanding our network of foster homes
• Securing much-needed donations (monetary, supplies, resources)
