VITA Short Term Coatesville Volunteer Tax Preparers needed - we will train!

Our services benefit hardworking families within the community by preparing their taxes for free. It is the perfect short-term community outreach opportunity. NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. We will train you in tax law and how to use the IRS TaxSlayer software.

We need both basic and advanced preparers. Basic preparers help with intake of our walk-in customers and prepare basic returns when not doing intake. Our Advanced preparers also help with intake, prepare the more advanced returns, help answer phones and review other preparers returns prior to submitting them to the IRS.

We use check sheets to guide you through every step, and each shift has a Site Coordinator available to help you with your questions and needs. We are a very happy group; if you decide to join us you will walk away happy and blessed.
