Are you someone who loves connecting with others, sharing and listening to stories, and bringing sunshine into someone’s day? Healing Care Hospice is looking for In-Home Patient Volunteers, and we’d love to have you as part of our team!

As an In-Home Patient Volunteer, you’ll visit our patients in their homes to provide a comforting presence. Whether you’re offering emotional support, sharing a laugh, or simply keeping someone company, you’ll make a meaningful difference with every visit.

No experience? No problem! We welcome all volunteers who are genuinely interested in making a difference in someone's day.

✨ What you might do as a volunteer:

• Chat, laugh, or simply sit with a patient.
• Read aloud, play games, color together, or help write letters.
• Listen to music—or even play an instrument if you know how!
• Share your own creative talents.

📍 Where you will serve:

Please note that Healing Care Hospice is not a facility. Our patients reside all over LA County. They may live in their own homes, a Board & Care, an Assisted Living facility, or a Skilled Nursing facility. We will do our best to match you with a patient close to you. You will be responsible for your own transportation to the patient's home (proof of a driver's license and car insurance is required).

⏱️ Your commitment:

• At least 4 hours a month for 6 months—with flexible scheduling to fit your life.
• If you can give more time, your impact will be even greater!
