Are you interested in engaging with friends from Latin America? Are you interested in the cultures of Latin America? Joining Intercambio Cultural is a valuable opportunity to connect with other High school students in Latin America. For this spring cohort, we will collaborate with a high school in Colombia, hold weekly virtual meetings, and exchange insights into the cultural aspects of the United States and Latin America. Board positions are open to all, with applications open until mid-march. We are accepting all High School Students in NJ and NY. The faster you apply, the better your chances are of receiving the position.

Cómo participar como voluntario(a) en esta oportunidad
We are looking for High School students across New Jersey and New York (SUBJECT TO CHANGE) to receive unique experiences and make everlasting friendships abroad. Intercambio Cultural is now accepting participants on a rolling basis from high school students interested in making a big impact on cultural exchange.
You may apply for the State Coordinator, International Coordinator, Secretary, and Social Media Lead positions.
If interested in volunteering, applicants can complete the form listed below.
By applying to Intercambio Cultural, you are agreeing to the following:
- I confirm that I am a high school student aged 14-18.
- I confirm that all the information I provided in my application is accurate and reflects my background.
- I confirm that all written responses are my original work and may not be generated, copied, or contain information by any artificial intelligence (AI) tools.
- I understand that any academic information, extracurricular activities, and other information reflect me as a student.
- Once I am committed to joining the program, I will participate in at least one scheduled Intercambio cultural meeting per week with the same group and engage actively and respectfully.
- I understand that failure to meet participation requirements without a valid excuse or misleading information will result in potential removal from the program.

After completing the application:
- Students will receive an email within 1-2 weeks on whether they are selected for a position.
- Any student who doesn't receive a position will automatically be placed as a volunteer.
- After a student commits to the program via an email confirmation, they will begin in April.
