Be A Volunteer and Make a Difference

Suncrest Hospice Care is currently seeking Volunteers to join our team in our Palm Desert office. The volunteer will provide patient care and support services according to his/her experience and training and in compliance with organization policies.

Job Duties:

Provide socialization and companionship to patient and family. Volunteer to report or notify the office if the patient is experiencing pain and/or changes in condition. Also, assists with clerical work, filing, answering phones, etc.

Skills:

Mature individual, supportive of the hospice concept, comfortable with his/her own spirituality and willing to serve others in a volunteer capacity. Successful completion of the hospice's volunteer training and orientation program. Previous volunteer experience may be helpful.
