Do You Love to Talk? We Have the Perfect Volunteer Role for You.

Some people have a gift.

They can walk into a room and make someone smile within minutes. They ask great questions. They listen. They tell funny stories. They make people feel less alone.

If that sounds like you… hospice patients would love to meet you.

Hospice volunteers provide companionship visits to patients who may be spending long hours alone. Sometimes the visit is simple:

• chatting about life
• sharing stories and laughter
• watching TV together
• playing cards or games
• listening to music
• simply sitting together

There is no medical care involved. Your presence and conversation are the gift.

Many of our volunteers say this becomes the most meaningful thing they do each week.
