Give an Hour, Gain a Friend by helping a Senior in Bluffton, SC

Caring Neighbors is a 501(C)3 charity helping our Senior Neighbors in Bluffton, South Carolina. Our goal is to enable our Senior Neighbors to stay and enjoy living in their homes.

Our volunteers assist our Senior Neighbors with a variety of needs:

Rides to medical appointments, Grocery store and other errands

Help around the house

Visiting them at home

Calling them to see how they are doing

We utilize a web site calendar via Sign Up Genius which enables our volunteers to choose which needs they wish to fill.

Volunteers are:

• supplied an information handbook
• required to fill in a few forms found on the web site
• required to supply copies of drivers license and insurance, if driving our Neighbors

background checked with the DMV and SLED

WE HAVE MORE NEEDS THAN WE CAN FILL, SO CURRENTLY WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING ANY NEW SENIOR NEIGHBORS IN TO OUR PROGRAM UNTIL WE HAVE MORE VOLUNTEERS
