The Challenge Your efforts Will Help Solve

For over 22 years, children at Kyani Nyanza Primary School in Uganda have been learning under trees. In 2025, more than 920 children and 7 teachers still lack classrooms, toilets, and safe water. This absence of infrastructure exposes them to harsh weather, limits learning outcomes to just 5–10%, and drives the school dropout rate up to 80%.

Despite these challenges, teachers and learners show up every day—a powerful example of resilience. With your support, Civicom Aid will provide:

• 14 classrooms
• 22 toilets
• 1 solar-powered ICT lab and research library
• 1 borehole water point

These improvements will:

• Boost learning outcomes by 65%
• Reduce hygiene-related illnesses by 80%
• Expand opportunities for children by 70%

Key Responsibilities

• Mobilize resources through fundraising campaigns, grant writing, or donor engagement.

Expected Outcomes

• Raise funds or any amount to build a safe classroom(s), toilet(s), computer lab, library, or a water point

Support from Civicom Aid

• Access to promotional materials and stories from the field.
• Recognition on Civicom Aid’s website and reports.
• Continuous support from the CEO and team.

Qualifications

• Passion for child welfare, education, or social impact.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Open to all—no prior experience required.
