Animal Welfare 501(c)(3) Organization Event Volunteer

This is a volunteer (unpaid) role as an Animal Welfare 501(c)(3) Organization Event Volunteer at The Animal Cause, Inc. located in Bell County, Texas. As a volunteer, you will participate in on-site events and activities that support animal welfare, raise awareness, and promote social change within the community. Duties may include but not limited to:

• Assisting with loading and unloading animals
• Assisting with setting up booth area
• Assisting with handling animals during event - including taking animals for potty breaks
• Assisting with greeting booth visitors, answering questions and asking for donations
• Videoing/photographing event
• Assisting with social media management about the event

Qualifications

• Passion for animal welfare and advocacy
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable and committed to volunteering
• Ability to work collaboratively in a community-focused environment
• Basic knowledge of event planning and organization

Note: As this is a volunteer position, compensation will not be provided. You must be a United States citizen and at least 18 years of age to apply.

At this time, we do not accept court-ordered service hours nor track community service hours.

Volunteers must not have conflicting associations with similar non-profit organizations or other business related to animal welfare.
