Volunteer Community Outreach Coordinator

NextKey Housing Access Foundation is seeking a volunteer Community Outreach Coordinator to help connect people and community organizations with our housing education workshops and resources.

Responsibilities:

• Research local community groups and potential workshop hosts.
• Help prepare and share approved workshop announcements and outreach materials.
• Maintain an organized outreach and follow-up tracker.
• Help recruit workshop participants and volunteers.
• Collect community feedback and share ideas with the founder.

Qualifications:

Clear and friendly communication, dependable follow-through, and an interest in housing access and community education. Experience in outreach, community engagement, communications, or event promotion is helpful. Familiarity with New York City communities is welcome.

This is an unpaid volunteer role supporting the Foundation. Outreach will follow Foundation guidance; partnership commitments require the founder's approval. Schedule, scope, and length of involvement will be agreed together.

Participation can be remote, hybrid, or in person in New York City. In-person activities will be arranged in advance. Please share your relevant experience, general availability, and preferred participation format.
