Development Associate (Volunteer)

WorkFour is building the movement for a 4-day workweek in the U.S. — and we’re looking for a creative, strategic volunteer to help grow our fundraising efforts and sustain our movement.

💡 What You’ll Do

• Research potential donors, foundations, and aligned organizations
• Draft outreach messages and proposals to secure funding and partnerships
• Help build and maintain our donor database
• Contribute to fundraising campaigns and donation appeals
• Work with our team to design strategies for long-term sustainability

🌟 Who You Are

• You’re a clear, persuasive communicator who enjoys building relationships
• You’re organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
• You’re curious about what motivates donors and how movements grow
• Big plus if you have experience in fundraising, development, or communications — but enthusiasm and initiative matter most

⏰ Time Commitment

• 3–5 hours/week (flexible)
• Ideally available for a weekly async check-in
• Minimum 3-month commitment
