We are looking for people to become Volunteer Advocates in over 30 counties in WI! (Please see our website for a full list of counties that are looking for incredible volunteers!)
Volunteer Advocates make visits to a nursing home or assisted living facility on a regular basis, where they interact with residents and empower and assist them to communicate concerns or suggestions about issues affecting their quality of life. Training and ongoing support is provided. If you'd like to make a positive impact in an older adult's life, please consider becoming a Volunteer Advocate with the Ombudsman Volunteer Program.
Flexible schedule, weekly 1-2 hour visits are made any time between 8am-8pm, any day of the week. Minimum age: 18. Must pass a background check.
