About Us: It’s a Sensory World! provides sensory-based education, recreation, and support for neurodiverse children and young adults in a joyful, inclusive environment.

About Our Summer Camp: Our summer camp creates a safe, joyful, and structured environment for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are seeking caring, dependable individuals to support our campers this summer! We have two kinds of opportunities: child-facing or administrative supportive!

1. Child Facing Opportunities: Work alongside our staff to support campers during play, special activities, water days, field trips, and transitions while helping create a safe, inclusive, and joyful summer camp experience.
2. Administrative Support Opportunities: Support summer camp behind the scenes by helping with getting camp set-up or torn down, answering phone calls, organizing materials, decorating bulletin boards, taking pictures, heat pressing shirts, and more!

Who Can Volunteer?

• Individuals 14 and older
• High school and college students seeking service hours
• Parents, professionals, and retirees
• Community, school, or corporate groups
• Anyone with a heart for inclusive learning and play

How to Get Started

1. Fill out our Volunteer Interest Form: bit.ly/VolunteerISW
2. You’ll hear from an ISW team member within 2–3 business days
3. We’ll schedule your first volunteer day and, if you’re 18 or older, provide a background check link.
4. All volunteers will complete a short orientation before beginning.
