Position Summary
The Fundraiser is responsible for securing financial support to advance the mission and programs of the organization. This role develops and implements fundraising strategies, cultivates donor relationships, and supports grant and campaign initiatives to ensure long-term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement annual fundraising plans and campaigns
- Identify, cultivate, and steward individual donors, sponsors, and partners
- Research, write, and manage grant proposals and reports
- Plan and support fundraising events and online giving initiatives
- Maintain accurate donor records and prepare acknowledgments and impact updates
- Collaborate with leadership and communications teams on fundraising materials
- Track fundraising performance and prepare reports for leadership and board
Qualifications
- Experience in nonprofit fundraising, development, or related fields
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain donor relationships
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
Preferred Experience
- Grant writing and foundation fundraising
- Familiarity with donor databases (CRM systems)
- Experience in faith-based, educational, or healing-focused nonprofits
