Patient Visitor Volunteer

Many of our patients live in their own homes and are cared for during most of the day by their families/caregiver(s). We are looking for volunteers willing to provide an occasional break to those family members by sitting with the patient for 2-4 hours so that the family can run errands, attend medical appointments, or maybe just take a break to get their hair cut or enjoy quiet time. Volunteers do not provide any medical or physical care during this time. They merely provide companionship to the patient and the invaluable gift of time to the caregiver. Orientation and training provided, background check, two-step TB tests, and drug testing required.
