Community Outreach Specialist

LoopRoots Foundation is seeking a compassionate, proactive Volunteer Outreach Specialist to serve as a bridge between justice-impacted families and the resources they need. You’ll help expand awareness, build partnerships, and ensure individuals feel seen, supported, and empowered.

What You’ll Do

• • Connect families and returning citizens with LoopRoots programs and services
  • Represent the organization at community events, resource fairs, and partner meetings
  • Build relationships with local organizations, advocates, and service providers
  • Support outreach campaigns (calls, emails, social, and in-person engagement)
  • Help distribute resources, gather feedback, and track community needs
  • Assist with event coordination and volunteer engagement

You’re a Great Fit If You Have

• • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfort speaking with diverse groups and community partners
  • Experience or interest in community organizing, social services, or advocacy
  • Empathy, reliability, and cultural humility
  • 5–10 hours/week availability (flexible; some events may be in-person or virtual)
