Paralegal Translator in English - Bahasa Indonesia
Remote Volunteer
ZAKKI is a technology startup in Indonesia aiming to create an inclusive, integrated society. We seek to build an inclusive community in Indonesia, especially for the elderly and people with disabilities. ZAKKI's vision and mission have been implemented through three main programs: supporting micro-enterprises for older adults and people with disabilities, strengthening volunteer communities; and strengthening the community of seniors and people with disabilities.
ZAKKI is a non-profit foundation, and all ZAKKI teams and volunteers do not receive a salary. Furthermore, English proficiency will be required as the central communication, both in the documentation and verbal communication.
ZAKKI provides equal volunteering opportunities for everyone regardless of age, sex/gender, color, race, creed, nationality/origin, marital status, sexual orientation, political belief, or disability that does not prohibit essential performance of job functions. All matters relating to volunteering are based upon one's ability to perform the job, as well as one's dedication to ZAKKI's Mission and needs.
We need help to create and translate documentation and files from English to Bahasa Indonesia and or vice versa.
Because to comply with Indonesia law, all legal documents and agreements have to be available in Bahasa Indonesia. While our volunteers are all around the globe, thus we need to supply all legal documents and agreements bilingual in English and Bahasa Indonesia. Given that we do not have any team/personnel that has a law degree, and we do not fully comprehend legal terminology. Therefore, we need probono to help to draft all legal documents and agreements.
Deliverables

Qualifications
- Experience as a legal secretary or assistant or paralegal
- Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certificate
