Volunteer for LI-DOG at the LI Pet Expo

We're gearing up for a paws-itively delightful outdoor event, and we'd love your help to make it unforgettable! Whether you're a dog lover, community enthusiast, or just someone who enjoys sunshine and wagging tails, we've got a spot for you. We ask only for 2 hours of your time, of course you can stay longer if you'd like.

We will be setting up our booth at The Long Island Pet Expo in Tanner Park on Saturday, October 24th. Tanner Park, which is on the picturesque Great South Bay, is a well-known park in Copiague. It is easy to reach and there is ample parking. The event is held in conjunction with the Long Island Family Festival which is sponsored by the Copiague Chamber of Commerce. Can you spare a couple of hours to help us? Once you're there, of course, feel free to stay longer! Also, remember your dog is invited!

Event Details:

📍 Location: Tanner Park in Copiague

📅 Date: Saturday, October 24th

🕒 Time: 11am-6pm (we’ll need one or two volunteers to arrive around 10am to help with the setup)

🐶 Theme: Long Island Pet Expo, an outdoor event to enjoy with your pets

Volunteer Roles Include:

• • Greeting guests and their furry companions who stop by our booth and letting them know about LI-DOG and what we do and our upcoming events! (Don't worry we have a "cheat sheet" handy)
  • Helping with setup and cleanup
  • Managing water stations and the treat bowl, only 1 of each at this event!
  • Spreading smiles and good vibes!

We'd love to have you on board—whether you're a seasoned volunteer or just someone who loves dogs and sunshine!
