KYRS Thin Air Community Radio is inviting YOU to host your own radio show.

KYRS isn’t corporate radio. It’s your station, powered by volunteers, fueled by curiosity, and rooted in Spokane’s creative and cultural life. For more than 23 years, community members just like you have stepped behind the mic to share music, ideas, stories, and perspectives you won’t hear anywhere else on the air. Hosting a show on KYRS is a long-term volunteer commitment, but you won’t be thrown into the deep end. You’ll receive broadcast training, ongoing support, and become part of a welcoming, passionate community of programmers. Many of our hosts have been on the air since the station’s earliest days, and they’re still loving it. If you’ve ever thought, “There should be a show about this,” this is your sign.
