Calling all volunteers!
Join us on this roadside cleanup of Big Mountain Rd. at the south end of Shamokin St. in Coal Township, PA. Parking is available along Big Mountain Rd.
A great opportunity for high school students looking for community volunteer hours or for local companies looking for volunteer opportunities!

We will be partnering with Keep PA Beautiful on this event, who will be supplying bags and gloves.
We are looking for small groups of volunteers to divide up and tackle different sections along Big Mountain Rd. We will have a bulldozer on site to help with any heavy lifting and to transport the trash to the dumpster location.
SCRA will provide a pizza luncheon with beverages at the end of the cleanup.

¿Cómo llegar?
Follow Shamokin Street all the way to the south end where the paved road turns into a gravel road. The event meeting location will be approximately 1/4 mile out the gravel road on the left side.
Cómo participar como voluntario(a) en esta oportunidad
Volunteers will be required to sign a waiver the morning of the event. Gloves and bags will be provided. Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Volunteers should be aware of possible hazards such as ticks, broken glass, and other hazardous materials.
