About IIAN
Invisible Illness Awareness Network (IIAN) is a 100% volunteer-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness of invisible illnesses, chronic conditions, and disabilities.
About the Role
We are looking for a creative YouTube Video Editor to help bring our Invisibly Aware Series to life, turning out one-hour recordings into compelling, polished content that educates, advocates, and builds community.
What You'll Do
- Craft engaging content: edit monthly long-form episodes, approximately 1 hour long, for our YouTube channel with a manageable 2-week turnaround time.
- Elevate the visual experience: add clean transitions, lower thirds, titles, and visual elements where appropriate to keep viewers engaged.
- Ensure accessibility: Ensure audio clarity, balance sound levels, and remove any flashing content.
Who We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience editing long-form video content (a portfolio is great, but passion and talent matter most).
- Familiarity with video editing software of your choice.
- Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in a remote environment.
- Sharp eye for pacing, audio balancing, and visual storytelling.
